Father's Day 2016

Today is a very special day for the men in our lives who are our fathers to include our grandfathers, uncles, mentors godfathers, etc., Father’s Day is a time to celebrate a bond, fatherhood and responsibility. It is your tireless efforts to make lasting impressions in the lives of others; we pause today to recognize you for being that very special person who is often loved and respected by all of those whom you encounter in your daily lives.

Killeen-Fort Hood (TX) Alumni Chapter

Safety and refuge is paramount during times of calamity and tragedy. According to officials in Fort hood, five soldiers from Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas, are dead and four others remain missing after their vehicle overturned in high water in a flooded region of the state, U.S. Army officials said late Thursday. Three more soldiers were rescued from the water and were in stable condition, Fort Hood officials said.

Alumni Officers Report '16

I am forwarding PART of an excellent, informative email sent by Administrative Assistant Eric Narcisse to the chapters under his jurisdiction. Please govern yourself accordingly to the following instructions.

Each chapter should have had its annual elections last month and have or about to induct those elected officers this month. So that all of the Southwestern Province (SWP) is operating via the same guidelines, ensure that a chapter representative completes the FY2016-2017 online officers' report and forwards the signed documents to the Southwestern Province Keeper of Records, Mark Gallashaw, by June 20, 2016.

Memorial Day Remembrance

Memorial Day is a time to account for the present, reflect on the past, and renew our commitment to the future of America. Kappa Men will gather on  lawns and porches, fire up the grill, and enjoy the company of family, friends and neighbors, for this too is a part of a perpetual tradition of Memorial Day.
